About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position based in the field, where you will be accountable for the sales of Kingspan Klargester branded products within your designated territory. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including homeowners, house builders, major contractors, regional and national builders' merchants, and accredited installers. It is crucial that Kingspan Klargester maintains its reputation for premium products and exceptional customer service. As the Area Sales Manager, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards while specifying and selling ethical solutions that align with both customer needs and the company's profit objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess the capability to devise and implement area and sales strategies that support the overarching strategic vision of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets for your territory while developing a specification program.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance in collaboration with our technical sales team.
- Maintain professional relationships with all internal sales, operations, and technical teams.
- Generate quotations via CRM in partnership with the sales office and technical sales.
- Address customer technical product inquiries both over the phone and on-site.
- Participate in exhibitions and provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions as required.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with new and existing customers across multiple levels within the distribution network.
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to manage pricing strategies within the territory.
- Play a pivotal role in fostering relationships between internal and external sales teams.
- Work closely with the National Sales Manager to cultivate high-level customer connections on a national scale through regional interactions.
- Develop clear sales plans and initiatives with key customers at all levels.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports and presentations regarding territory performance.
- Collaborate with marketing on customer campaigns, national initiatives, and sales strategies.
Experience & Knowledge
- Possession of a full driving license.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or extensive field-based sales experience.
- Previous experience in the wastewater industry is desirable.
- Proven sales skills and a strong track record.
- Excellent people management skills at a senior level or the ability to demonstrate similar capabilities.
- Outstanding presentation skills for engaging with customers and senior management.
- A strong technical background in the sector is preferred.
