About the Role

Athena PTS is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineering Trainee. As a trainee, you will be part of our bespoke training and development programme, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the electrical engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enrol on either our Advanced Apprenticeship or Higher Apprenticeship programme, tailored to your level of entry, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals, benefiting from structured on-the-job training and gaining valuable hands-on work experience.
  • Attain further academic qualifications, enhancing your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering.
  • Contribute to large-scale projects in the renewable energy, utilities, nuclear, and defence sectors, working nationwide.
Requirements
  • Five GCSEs at grades A*-C / 9-4, including English Language and Mathematics at grades A*-B / 9-6.
  • Alternative STEM qualifications that are equivalent to Level 3 / 96 UCAS points.
  • Maturity, ambition, passion, and commitment to succeed in a trainee role.
