GSL Education is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to work with one of our partner schools in the Doncaster area. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a dedicated and passionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH or special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with SEMH or special needs, utilizing a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote academic and personal growth, while fostering a collaborative and cooperative learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student success and well-being.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and teaching experience within the past two years.
  • SEMh certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply.
