We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mental Health Act Administrator to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and prepare for First Tier Tribunals and Hospital Manager Appeal meetings, including organizing paperwork and notifying parties.
- Process hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Liaise with consultants and nursing teams to update service user information and provide support with renewal of sections and consent to treatments.
- Provide information to service users about their access to Independent Mental Health Advocacy Services (IMHA).
- Confidence in liaising with a wide range of people from different professions.
- Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of relevant legislation and current case law relating to the Mental Health Act.
