Job Overview

Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Compensation: £60,000+

Locke & McCloud is on the lookout for a driven Cyber Security Analyst to become part of a global cyber security unit within a well-established organization. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of the company's IT systems across the globe. You will serve as the primary escalation point for the Global Security Team.

Key Duties:

  • Investigate and document vulnerabilities and threats to IT systems.
  • Oversee and report on the organization's adherence to security protocols to the Security leadership.
  • Act as the main liaison for all issues escalated to the Global Security Team via the ticketing system.
  • Review and enforce security policies to comply with client or organizational requirements.
  • Manage access to the organization’s Information Systems and oversee related security settings.
  • Identify and respond to all information security incidents within the organization's environment.
  • Contribute to the security of the architecture and enhance the overall security framework.
  • Assist in strategizing for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards.
  • Technical knowledge of firewall configurations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to thrive in a diverse team setting and adapt to the evolving needs of the environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates discretion consistently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
