Blair West Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary, and will play a key role in supporting strategic decision making through financial reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and producing monthly management accounts, with wider month-end close support.
  2. Partnering with other parts of the organisation to set budgets and monitor performance.
  3. Supporting external audit processes.
  4. Managing balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Overseeing statutory and regulatory returns, including VAT, FEU, and NSO.
  6. Providing ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis projects.
  7. Managing the finance team's controls framework, including systems.
  8. Supporting the development of the wider finance team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualifications in ACA/ACCA/CIMA, nearing the end of your studies, or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in producing monthly management accounts.
  3. Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
