About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Podiatrist to join our team in Powys Teaching Health Board. As a key member of our community-based services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients across the county.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high standard of podiatric service to patients, promoting clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Specialist Podiatrist and other community services to ensure seamless patient journeys.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of podiatric services, ensuring they meet the needs of patients and the community.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Person Specification
  • Certificate in Local Anaesthesia
  • POM S Entitlement
  • Ability to speak Welsh
  • Knowledge of clinical governance agenda
  • Work independently and seek advice as necessary
  • Be able to travel across PTHB
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Committed to the profession & have a flexible working approach
  • Previous NHS experience
