Job Title: Accounts Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Senior to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, including personal tax and business clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to deliver high-quality accounting services
  • Prepare and review sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns
  • Provide VAT advice and compliance services
  • Maintain a high technical and professional standard through ongoing training and access to CPD programs
  • Coach, train, and develop junior staff to improve their knowledge
  • Develop skills in key areas such as Xero and other cloud-based systems
  • Undertake wider practice activities as required
  • Communicate with the team on any issues or findings
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues
Requirements:
  • 23 years post-AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Experience in accounts preparation in an accountancy practice
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage own workload and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solver with an investigative nature
  • IT literate and able to use MS Excel and Word
