As a GIS Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission by analyzing and presenting geographical and spatial information to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain GIS projects to support ongoing offshore developments
  • Develop and implement ArcGIS Online projects to enhance data visualization and reporting
  • Analyze and present data within GIS to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes
  • Generate GIS charting for projects and internal use to facilitate data-driven insights
  • Design and implement GIS data storage structures to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Provide technical support to project teams and commercial proposal development
  • Digitize paper maps into GIS datasets to enhance data accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure quality assurance and consistency of data presentation to meet industry standards
  • Research and innovate digital products to increase internal efficiency and meet industry needs
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in GIS software applications, particularly Esri ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online Experience Builder or Enterprise
  • Familiarity with survey mapping and digitizing techniques
  • Skills in Python scripting, programming, and modeling
  • Experience in applying GIS to the coastal and marine industries is preferred
  • Understanding of the offshore energy industry is a plus
