Citrus Recruit is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join a leading business in their field, specializing in process plant equipment design, manufacture, and installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project compliance with relevant legislation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project work areas on-site to ensure efficient and controlled operations.
  • Process orders, allocate labor, and manage rework loads in accordance with the Operations department's instructions.
  • Complete design engineering tasks, including preparing manufacturing and installation details, to meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct site visits to gather project information, specifications, and measurements.
  • Produce Method Statements and risk assessments for repair/installation activities.
  • Utilize CAD software for design activities and manufacturing information creation.
  • Support the sales team in preparing estimates, project specifications, and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in project and technical management.
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling costs throughout contracts in real-time.
  • 3 years of experience in Project/Technical Engineer or equivalent from an engineering fabrication industry.
  • Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.

This role demands a blend of project management, technical expertise, customer relationship management, and sales support. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for successful project outcomes.
