About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Abundant Grace, a care home operated by South Coast Nursing Homes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the standards set by the Executive Chef, driving the food offering forward and delivering new dishes that inspire and delight.
  • Work with a team of kitchen assistants to ensure the highest standard of food is prepared for the residents, in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a menu that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality meals.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Chef (Professional Cooking) minimum requirement for this role.
  • Experience in a busy catering environment.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2/ 3 qualification, or greater.
  • A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
