About the Role

We are working with IDEX Consulting Ltd to find a Senior DB Pensions Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in administering and managing a portfolio of Defined Benefit pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and lead on a portfolio of DB schemes, acting as the client relationship manager.
  • Manage ad-hoc and annual pension projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislation, regulation, and codes of practice.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with pension trustees and other stakeholders to ensure effective scheme management.
Requirements
  • Broad pension's technical knowledge, with at least five years' experience working in a Defined Benefit pension administration environment.
  • Practical knowledge of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) and GMP Reconciliation / Equalisation calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
