About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and personable Solutions Engineer to join our team at Artificial, a leading technology company in the insurance industry. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions to meet the individual needs of our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Developer or Technical Account Manager looking to take their career to the next level in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain formal specifications of insurance products in various lines of business, including marine, aviation, and political violence.
  • Utilize our domain-specific spreadsheet-like functional programming language, Brossa, to drive automation-assisted decision-making for underwriters.
  • Work closely with clients and Artificial's account managers to understand requirements and make them a reality.
  • Implement automated tests for insurance products.
  • Analyze prospective partners' and clients' business requirements to configure our platform to meet their needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner with clients and Artificial's account managers to demonstrate and communicate the value of our products and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that align with the strategic goals of the client.
  • Possess a deep understanding of our suite of products to provide top-class technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Implement and manage integrations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to clients throughout the implementation process.
About You
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing start-up environment with all the ambiguities this presents.
  • Solution-driven and always looking at how processes can be improved.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
