Join Our Team as a Junior Carbon Consultant

We're a mission-driven, tech-enabled sustainability agency based in London, seeking a talented Junior Consultant to help us deliver impactful client projects focused on GHG measurement and reduction.

As a Junior Carbon Consultant, you'll play a key role in our Net Zero projects delivery, working collaboratively with our team to measure and report on GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3). Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering projects to measure and report on GHG emissions
  • Client liaison, project management, and technical delivery
  • Taking over, managing, and delivering existing carbon management projects
  • Pitching for new work with guidance and support
  • Providing analytical support for broader sustainability projects and technical assessments
  • Being the client lead for key projects, demonstrating experience of working face-to-face with clients and managing their expectations
  • Undertaking a project management role, controlling budgets and timings, and allocating tasks to colleagues as required
  • Supporting our clients through their carbon measurement process and broader sustainability initiatives
  • Engaging in business development and outreach activities, including CRM, email campaigns, contact list maintenance, blog content, and social media to keep our audience engaged and gain new leads

We're looking for someone with:

Requirements:
  • Practical career experience and the ability to demonstrate relevant technical capability, effective project management, and excellent communication skills
  • Higher education qualification (Bachelor's Degree) in an environmental discipline, or a good track record working in an environmental role to demonstrate your knowledge
  • Technical expertise in carbon management planning, data, and strategy
  • Experience with life cycle assessment, energy auditing, SECR, CDP, GRI, TCFD, and other sustainability frameworks is a plus but not essential
  • Passion for climate change and sustainability and motivated by your ethics
  • Highly numerical, analytical, and accurate - Excel is a piece of cake for you
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including presenting and relationship building
