The RoleAs a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining high operational standards. Additionally, you will support more junior team members to excel and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Ambassador: You will be an ambassador for the store, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.
- Store Performance: You will support the Store Manager in driving performance and day-to-day operations, taking responsibility for the store and team in their absence.
- Sales and KPIs: You will drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities, optimizing KPI performance, and identifying focus areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: You will deliver exceptional market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Product Knowledge: You will demonstrate a deep understanding of the product range, managing tasting events, and executing an enticing and commercially savvy tasting counter.
- Team Development: You will support the recruitment, management, and development of the team, providing a sounding board and source of support for more junior team members.
- Store Maintenance: You will take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of the store, ensuring swift reporting and escalation of any issues.
- Continuous Improvement: You will continuously identify opportunities to make improvements, optimizing the operational running of the store.
- Compliance and Safety: You will ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and complete mandatory training to maintain a safe and legal working environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: You will have experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
- Customer Service: You will be able to demonstrate exceptional customer experience and service skills.
- Retail KPIs: You will have experience understanding retail KPIs and driving improvements.
- Problem-Solving: You will be able to prioritize and strategically problem-solve in high-pressure environments.
- Self-Motivation: You will be self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
- Communication and Time Management: You will have excellent communication and time management skills.
- WSET Qualification: You will hold a WSET 2 qualification and be willing to work towards WSET 3 qualification to progress to Store Manager.
- Driving License: You will hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
