Salary: £38,804/annum + overtime

Basic Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our multi-skilled maintenance team at our Stanlow site. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to support maximum production output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, including modifications and re-engineering as required
  • Working on rotating equipment, recognising issues, monitoring condition, and carrying out overhauls in a methodical and structured manner
  • Ensuring spares are replenished in stock and critical spares are identified
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve maintenance objectives and improve overall plant efficiency

Requirements:

  • Industry recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering NVQ L3 or equivalent
  • ONC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Post apprenticeship experience working as a Maintenance (Mechanical) Technician within the Chemical or Oil/Gas Industry
  • Experience of working with Rotating Equipment (Tricanters/Centrifugal pumps preferable)
  • Knowledge of mechanical seal installations
  • Knowledge/experience of maintaining HP boiler systems
  • Experience of static equipment installations/repairs e.g. PRV's, exchangers
  • Fault finding and preventative maintenance experience
