About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Functional Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics to join our dynamic team at SoftStone, Inc. in London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in requirement gathering, business analysis, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics solutions. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
    • Engage with clients to understand their business processes, objectives, and requirements.
    • Analyze and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
  2. Microsoft Dynamics Implementation and Configuration:
    • Design and implement Microsoft Dynamics solutions (Dynamics 365, AX, NAV, etc.)
    • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics applications to align with business processes.
    • Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  3. Client Engagement and Support:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide expert advice on best practices for using Microsoft Dynamics to achieve business goals.
    • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
  4. Project Management:
    • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers.
    • Manage project risks and issues, proactively addressing and resolving challenges.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing of implemented solutions to ensure they meet client requirements and quality standards.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics (e.g., Dynamics 365, AX, NAV, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and functional design.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX, NAV, or other Dynamics applications.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics applications.
  • Project management skills with experience in leading complex projects.
