Job Description

Akkar is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced control systems for vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality control systems, including vehicle-level system architecture, high and low voltage systems, and communication systems.
  2. Integration and Testing: Integrate vehicle electrical systems and conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure safety and reliability.
  3. Software Development: Develop real-time embedded control software using languages such as C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink.
  4. Analysis and Documentation: Conduct safety analysis and design processes, and document each step of the development process.
Requirements:
  1. Expertise: Expertise in simulation, model development, data generation, and analysis.
  2. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in software such as Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, and PC applications like Visual Studio.
  3. Experience: Experience with analysis and data logging, as well as vehicle communication systems, including CAN and LIN, and tools like PEAK and Vector CANalyzer/CANoe.
Bonus Requirements:
  1. Torque Device/Speed Functions: Experience with torque device and speed functions.
  2. Vehicle Supervisory Control: Familiarity with vehicle supervisory control systems.
  3. ISO26262 Standards: Knowledge of ISO26262 standards for automotive safety.
  4. Automotive Quality Systems: Familiarity with automotive quality systems and processes.
