We are a leading manufacturer of roof trusses and other structural components, seeking talented individuals to join our team as Trainee and Experienced Roof Truss Designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret customer requirements and estimator quotations to provide efficient and professional designs.
  • Liaise with customers to offer knowledgeable service and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure designs align with costs, targets, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Design Posi-Joists and Roof Trusses using MiTek Pamir Software.
  • Estimate drawings for quotations.

Requirements:

  • Trainee Position:
    • No prior Roof Truss or Posi-Joist experience required; full onsite training will be provided.
    • Good understanding of I.T.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer and colleague interaction.
    • Ability to work as part of a small team with the motivation to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
    • Good Maths & English skills; education to A-level/Degree standard preferred.
  • Experienced Position:
    • Proficient in MiTek and Pamir Software.
    • Previous experience in the design of Roof Trusses, Posi-Joists, and Rafters required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer and colleague interaction.
    • Ability to work as part of a small team with the motivation to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
    • Good Maths & English skills; education to A-level/Degree standard preferred.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay based on experience: Trainee: £8.60 - £11.44 per hour Experienced: Starting from £11.44 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent positions with an expected 45 hours per week.
  • Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
