Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Professional to join our team at Richard Jackson Limited. As a Senior Geotechnical Professional, you will play a key role in developing and implementing geotechnical engineering solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sound understanding of geotechnical engineering through a combination of site works and office-based tasks.
  • Supervise site investigations and surveys to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Write technical reports, including factual and interpretative reports, on geotechnical engineering topics.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, such as structures, highways, or rail, to influence geotechnical design.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the team and business as a whole.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified to a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering or a similar subject.
  • Graduate applicants will be considered.
  • An appreciation of other disciplines that influence geotechnical design.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in geotechnical/civil engineering consultancy.
  • Dedication to the delivery of projects and the development of the team and business.
