Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at South West Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled services and maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Respond to breakdowns and leave machines in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Carry out weekly motor filter cleaning and inspection, as well as fixed wiring testing and repairs as required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and sign off on tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and other personnel as needed.
  • Act as a fire marshal as required and adhere to company and general health and safety rules.
  • Develop projects related to machine improvements and fulfill other duties as directed by the engineering manager or production manager.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong electrical maintenance skills and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
