About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewables Business Development Executive to join our team at Sustainable Energy First. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of our UK business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage renewable accounts and business development opportunities, including the CPPA platform and customer data management.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and build and maintain a lead database.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, including renewable energy generators and industry associations.
  • Research and track industry events, delegate lists, and industry bodies.
  • Produce tender responses and liaise with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Proven business development experience, with a strong track record of success in a similar role.
  • Basic commercial energy market knowledge and a real interest in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A team player with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn and develop.
