Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned Geotechnical or Geo-environmental Engineer eager to contribute as a vital member of a successful Geology team?

Our client is a privately owned firm specializing in ground-related risk management and building fabric assessment. Their expertise encompasses a wide range of services, from geotechnical consultancy to contaminated land evaluation, operating across multiple offices nationwide and occasionally internationally.
Role Responsibilities:
You will lead a project team to execute high-quality ground investigations, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across various geo-environmental and geotechnical projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Mentoring and developing a team of five, ensuring their professional growth.
  • Reviewing project work and preparing quotes.
  • Supporting the GI Director in business development efforts and enhancing client relationships.

The Ground Investigation teams are multidisciplinary, focusing on factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments, and geotechnical evaluations. A solid foundation in these areas, along with proven leadership and management skills, is essential.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in the office, with approximately 80% of your time spent on-site. Some travel may be necessary for client meetings, training, and business development.

Qualifications:

  • A solid grasp of geotechnical analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and positive approach.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective motivational skills.
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
  • A valid driving license.
