University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their dynamic Colorectal Cancer CNS Team. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and friendly environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Independently practice and demonstrate advanced knowledge in caring for colorectal patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct nurse-led clinics and provide ward-based education to enhance patient understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
- Facilitate effective healthcare delivery and provide information, advice, and support to patients at all stages of their disease, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- RGN with a degree (or working towards) is essential, with a strong foundation in oncology and colorectal surgery.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
