Financial Accountant

At Europlan Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and manage the company's tax reporting and filing requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and provide recommendations for cost-saving and profit optimization.
  • Coordinate and support annual financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions to optimize liquidity.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to improve and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Continuously review and refine financial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional accounting qualification is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
