At Allied Bakeries, we are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for transporting products to customers, suppliers, and other locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers, including adherence to the Highway Code and Company standards.
  • Drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, applying SAFED driving techniques to maximize safety and fuel efficiency.
  • Follow Company delivery and collection procedures, including picking from bulk order loads, order adjustments, and health and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, adhering to Company standards and procedures for working with products and equipment.
  • Report any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels to the FLM immediately.
  • Comply with Company requirements for Driver training and communications, and carry out additional duties as required, such as unloading, refueling, and washing vehicles.
Requirements
  • Possess an appropriate driving license.
  • Be conscientious and flexible, with good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Present a smart appearance at all times.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual salary of £42,545, as well as a £1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in installments over the first year of employment. This includes £250 upon joining, £250 at 6 months, and £500 at 1 year anniversary.
