Job Summary
Wayman Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth in our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting a love for learning and academic achievement.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with school goals and objectives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education.
Requirements
- QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
- Proven track record of success in a Year 2 environment, with a focus on academic achievement and student growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, imagination, and determination in the classroom.
- Passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
