Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Manager to join our commercial team at Grundon. As an Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and delivering innovative solutions and technologies that aid our customers in achieving their environmental and sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Propose new technologies for our dry, clinical, and hazardous waste customers, providing innovations that assist our customers in driving recycling, reducing costs, and increasing circularity.
  • Link our commercial team with our compliance team to ensure that the new innovations proposed and implemented are compliant and add environmental benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Preferably a degree in Environmental Science or Climate, Sustainability, and Environmental Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the waste industry.
  • Demonstrates a passion for exceeding customer's environmental and sustainability targets.
  • Evidence of excellent report-writing skills.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Full UK driving licence.
