Position: Contract TypeScript Engineer (NextJs, React)

Overview: Our client, a leading retailer with a rich history dating back to the 1950s, is embarking on an exciting project to develop a cutting-edge ecommerce platform. With a global presence and significant revenues, they are recognized as one of the most esteemed companies in the retail sector.

Role Summary: We are looking for two skilled TypeScript Engineers to join a highly regarded web development team. The ideal candidates will possess strong expertise in NextJs and React, along with a solid foundation in JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using TypeScript, NextJs, and React.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure clean coding practices and adherence to design patterns.
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Work independently to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, NextJs, React, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with React Hooks, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SCSS, CSS, TDD, Unit Testing, Docker, GIT, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.
  • Location: Hybrid working model.
  • Rate: Competitive daily rate.
