Construction Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to join our client's team in the Stansted area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing multiple smaller projects up to £500k, including shop fit-outs, retail fit-outs, commercial refurbishments, and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate small works projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and permits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Work closely with the project team to deliver projects efficiently, effectively, and safely.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing smaller construction projects up to £500k.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • SMSTS qualification and a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
