Position Overview: Our esteemed client in the maritime sector is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to enhance their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a professional and compliant procurement process for the organization and its affiliates.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of procurement principles and possess prior experience in a procurement capacity.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Core Duties:

  • Ensure high-quality execution of all routine procurement tasks and related administrative functions.
  • Provide a reliable supply of quality products and services to the fleet of managed vessels operating globally.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate optimal purchasing agreements regarding quality, pricing, terms, delivery, and services with suppliers.
  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders within the Procurement Division.
  • Oversee and manage third-party logistics operations.
  • Regularly assess and report on the performance of Approved Vendors.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
