Business Analyst Apprentice Opportunity

Our client, a leading Lloyds Insurance Broker, is seeking an Apprentice Business Analyst to join their growing Operations/IT team in London. This role offers a unique chance to develop skills in business analysis and technology, working closely with the Business Analysis team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Senior Business Analysts with assigned analysis tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the business to elicit and document business requirements and priorities, utilizing design thinking and other approaches to drive innovation.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into high-quality artefacts, including user stories, wireframes, data flows, process maps, and business requirements documents.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Business Analysis team, taking ownership of artefacts and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct data analysis, including impact analysis, data quality analysis, data migration, and data reconciliation, as required.
  • Develop and deliver process and technology training, as well as evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, providing effective support and advice on technology-related matters.
  • Develop close business working relationships at all levels, acting as a liaison between the business, IT department, and external parties.
Requirements:
  • On-target or completed 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above)
  • At least 5 GCSES (Grade C or above)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team or individually
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
About the Opportunity:

This is a permanent role based in London, offering a salary of £23,000.
