EMR, a specialist in marketing recruitment, is seeking a part-time Marketing and Sales Manager to support our client, a leading consultancy, during a 9-month maternity cover fixed term contract. The consultancy specializes in Investor Relations and works with highly regarded brands across the UK and Europe to communicate their value and access investors.
Purpose of the Role
As a Marketing and Sales Manager, you will work closely with the company's Directors to deliver on the sales and marketing strategy. Your primary objective will be to support the team in achieving their goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing: Track engagement across the company's marketing platforms, including newsletters, websites, and social media. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to optimize results.
- Events: Maintain a calendar of industry events and awards. Coordinate events, manage logistics, and ensure a smooth execution.
- Content: Develop and publish high-quality content across the company's platforms. Collaborate with the team to generate relevant content and update templates to reflect business changes and news.
- Sales and Lead Generation Support: Record potential leads in the CRM and track engagement. Ensure that all leads and actions from events and meetings are recorded and followed up on.
- CRM Management: Review and update the company's target list for changes and track engagement. Maintain and update distribution lists, ensuring the accuracy of contact and organizational data recorded.
- Pitch and Proposal Support: Assist pitch teams in drafting proposals and pitchbooks. Manage internal stakeholders, gathering information for proposals and ensuring timely delivery.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Experience: Background working in an agency or advisory firm is preferred.
- IT Skills/Knowledge: Experience with Pipedrive, Mailchimp, and LinkedIn is required. Good PowerPoint skills, including formatting, are desirable.
- Copywriting: High attention to detail in external communications, pitchbooks, and proposals is essential.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and communication abilities are required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidence and authority to lead meetings and hold senior stakeholders to account are necessary. Ensuring that the broader team follows up on leads, connections, and actions in a timely manner is crucial.
