Clinical Photographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Photographer to join our team at the Department of Clinical Photography and Illustration (DCPI) at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

• Support all clinical specialties, including Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Oral Surgery, ENT, and Paediatrics, by taking photographs in various settings.
• Contribute to the delivery of a day-to-day operational cost-effective and efficient service, including clinical photography, non-clinical photography, video, and illustration.
• Participate in the development of high-quality clinical photography, illustration, and video content using industry-standard software.

• Post-Graduate Certificate in Clinical Photography or equivalent.
• Registration as a Medical Illustrator on the AHCS Register (Academy for Healthcare Science).
• Ability to travel between sites.
• Professional Member of the Institute of Medical Illustrators.

• Relevant experience in clinical photography, non-clinical photography, and video.
• Advanced keyboard and computer skills, including desktop publishing, word processing, and database systems.
• Flexibility to prioritize workload and respond to urgent requests.
• Empathy when dealing with sensitive issues and obtaining images of an intimate nature.
