Nursing Associate

The NHS is seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our team in delivering high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities. As a Nursing Associate, you will work closely with the Complex Physical Health Nursing Team to ensure the physical health needs of our service users are met.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including medical histories and vital signs, to identify individual needs and develop person-centred plans.
- Support service users in accessing relevant health services, including physical health clinics, and engage in personalised care planning to promote psychosocial well-being.
- Work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, adhering to the nationally recognised code of conduct and complying with trust policies and procedures.
- Additional training relevant to the role and practice area.
- Experience working with people with learning disabilities.
- Experience working in a community setting.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, necessitating a Disclosure submission to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
