Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to become a vital part of our team at Listers. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, with a requirement to work one Saturday in every three weeks.

The position offers a competitive base salary of £29,000, with an expected total earnings of £35,000, alongside various benefits.

As a Service Advisor, you will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating with your colleagues, you will ensure the department operates smoothly, meets targets, and promotes our comprehensive range of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling customer vehicles for maintenance and repairs, coordinating with the workshop team to manage the workload effectively.
  • Welcoming customers upon arrival and delivering a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off to handover.
  • Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles, authorizing additional work as necessary, and conducting follow-up communications.
  • Coordinating with the Workshop, Parts, and Sales departments to guarantee timely readiness of customer vehicles.

Candidate Profile

  • A strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.
  • A polished and professional individual with the drive and character to succeed.
  • Prior experience in a customer service capacity, ideally with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction and sales goals.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills; familiarity with dealer management systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the automotive sector or car dealership is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
