GSL Education is seeking a motivated and passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary educational institution in London.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the learning experience of students with diverse needs, working alongside skilled educators.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement personalized learning strategies and provide individual support as well as small group interventions.

2. Collaborate with teaching staff to create an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere by assisting in the preparation and organization of educational materials and resources that inspire a passion for learning.

3. Ensure a safe and inclusive educational environment that prioritizes the well-being and safeguarding of all students.
4. Assist in managing student behavior and promote positive social interactions among peers.
5. Contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of student progress, providing constructive feedback to educators and families.

Qualifications:
1. Relevant experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in a support role.
2. A dedicated individual with a sincere commitment to nurturing a love for learning.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, educators, and families.
4. Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
5. Patience and resilience, with the capability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
6. A relevant qualification or a willingness to pursue further training.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service, as this position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
