Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to a high standard, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cleaning schedules and rotas.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role, preferably in a large facility.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
