Security Officer

Job Summary:

Amberstone Security is a leading security services provider seeking a skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team. As a dynamic and forward-thinking company, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of security on a distribution site, working on a shift roster covering days, nights, and weekends. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing colleague and contractor searches when required, in line with the Client's Company policy.
• Working collaboratively with our Client to identify risk and review CCTV recordings as part of stock loss investigations.
• Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Digitally reporting incidents and using tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
• Providing detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the Client and Local Authorities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident communicator, able to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. Previous experience of gatehouse duties is an advantage, but not essential as training is given. A valid SIA license is ESSENTIAL for applicants to be considered for the role.
