Position Overview

As a valued member of our compassionate and dedicated team, you will provide support to two vibrant ladies with significant learning and physical disabilities residing in a shared home. Each day will present new and diverse experiences.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the ladies with their daily activities, which include personal care, shopping, financial management, meal preparation, household chores, and medication administration.

Additionally, you will engage them in their hobbies and interests, such as music, films, in-home activities, baking, outdoor walks, and arts & crafts. Both ladies enjoy participating in community activities, so you will also have the opportunity to accompany them to events like cinema outings, social gatherings, and day trips.

While having a driving license is preferred, it is not essential for the right candidate, as both ladies have their own mobility vehicles.

Candidate Profile

No prior experience is necessary to embark on your journey with us; we prioritize values and transferable skills. We will compensate you for your training and equip you with all the essential practical skills. Furthermore, we will cover the costs for your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and annual SSSC registration fees.

Work Schedule

To ensure we provide tailored support around the clock, our shift patterns include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Waking night shifts are compensated at your standard hourly rate plus an additional £20 per night.
