Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive disrepair surveys in line with RICS guidelines and industry standards.
  • Assess and document structural, environmental, and maintenance issues affecting properties.
  • Create detailed and precise reports that effectively communicate findings to legal teams.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to integrate survey findings seamlessly into legal proceedings.
  • Uphold a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all surveying activities.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually enhance professional knowledge.

Requirements:

  • RICS qualification and accreditation as a Chartered Surveyor.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting disrepair surveys, preferably within a legal context.
  • In-depth knowledge of building pathology, construction standards, and property legislation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
