The Role: Business Development Manager
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in the Central England/Midlands region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities within this key market.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for your assigned territory, maximizing sales while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
- Adopt a consultative approach with clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs and leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our extensive product range.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify and convert potential new customers into profitable business opportunities through targeted outreach and relationship building.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify key decision-makers within target companies and develop effective sales strategies.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations and pitches, effectively communicating the value proposition of our bespoke packaging solutions.
- Consistently achieve monthly and yearly sales targets assigned to you, demonstrating a strong commitment to performance excellence.
- Maintain meticulous sales administration records, ensuring timely follow-up on all leads, inquiries, and quotes.
Your Profile:
We are seeking an accomplished B2B sales professional with a proven track record of success in driving new business development and customer acquisition. You possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, coupled with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
Essential Requirements:
- Recent experience in B2B field sales or customer-facing roles within the packaging industry or related sectors.
- A demonstrable history of exceeding sales targets and achieving outstanding performance.
- A genuine passion for building relationships and developing long-term partnerships with clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- A valid UK driving license and the ability to work remotely from a dedicated home office.
