We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team in Luton. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the service and repair of our sophisticated laboratory instrumentation, including automation and robotics, and optical visualisation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair on a wide range of instruments sent to the workshop.
- Provide quality technical support to customers via telephone and email.
- Conduct maintenance, functional checks, and repairs on demonstration and loan instruments between use.
- Accurately control spare parts inventory by following the correct processes and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Maintain the workshop to ensure compliance with H&S requirements and a clean working environment.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a background in the repair of electronic or electro-mechanical equipment, gained within any industry sector. You should also have a qualification in an engineering or electronic discipline.
