Job Title: Lead Podiatrist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Podiatrist to join our team at Royal Surrey. As a key member of our podiatry service, you will be responsible for managing daily service issues, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex clinical caseload as a senior clinician, working across community and acute sites.
  • Deputise for the service manager, supporting the team with processes and ensuring seamless integration with MSK physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team lead to ensure effective processes and standards are maintained across all locations.
  • Support staff development, ensuring clinical standards are upheld across all sites.
  • Monitor and validate service activity, waiting time data, and implement initiatives to manage variances.

Requirements:
  • Member of the Health Professions Council (HPC) and postgraduate specialism in Podiatry or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia.
  • Evidence of postgraduate CPD training in relevant fields.
