Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage a team of specialists to deliver high-profile projects and ensure compliance with Building Safety Act regulations.
- Principal Design Services: Oversee the delivery of Principal Design services, ensuring that all designs are compliant with safety standards and risk management procedures.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on design and regulatory matters.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with project teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of design safety measures.
- Policy Development: Develop internal policies and procedures to align with BSA requirements.
- Project Delivery: Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with statutory requirements.
- A qualification in Building Control, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Building Control or Principal Design roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2023 and its implications.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
- A background in risk management and compliance within the built environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience).
