About the Role:
Oyster Care Homes is a leading provider of luxury care homes, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director of Care Services to join our dynamic care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the delivery of care to residents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and the highest standards of care.
- Oversee the management of care home operations, including standards and quality of care, recruitment and training, communication with the team, and financial matters.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant to the care home.
- Manage the recruitment of suitable team members, effective inductions, and training needs for the team.
- Conduct regular supervisions, assessments, and lead team meetings to ensure a friendly and supportive environment.
- Control and monitor the budget and expenditure of the care home, preparing monthly cash flow reports for the directors.
- Support residents with their personal financial arrangements, maintaining confidentiality of all information.
- Responsible for the marketing, promotion, and sales of the care home.
Requirements:
- Ability to control and manage budgets and accounts.
- Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
- Leadership qualities, enthusiasm, influencing, and motivational skills.
- Understanding of local authority requirements.
- Experience with regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of Person Centred Software (PCS).
