Job Title: HR Lead

Edukai is seeking an experienced HR Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our HR function and driving strategic initiatives across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on compliance, risk management, and HR-related issues.
  • Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring they are effectively deployed to deliver professional, efficient, and high-quality HR services to all Academies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes, ensuring they comply with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Report HR key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Staffing, Operational & Management Committee.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and retention strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all roles within the Trust.
  • Ensure the Trust complies with Public Sector Equality Duty requirements.
  • Establish effective professional relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, trustees, educational advisory boards, trade unions, and external agents.
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters such as investigations, redundancies, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
