NJR Recruitment is working with a leading Independent Financial Adviser firm, offering specialist Financial Planning services in various areas, including Investment advice, Mortgage advice, and more. They are seeking a skilled Mortgage Paraplanner to join their team in the Mortgage, Equity Release, and Protection Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administration and paraplanning support for whole-of-market mortgage advice.
- Prepare and submit client documents and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and oversee cases from conversion to completion, ensuring all documents are collected, attached, and compliant.
- Liaise with advisers, lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient handling of cases.
- Proactively engage with clients through regular communication, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
- Create compliant suitability reports for mortgage and protection recommendations.
- Utilize research and sourcing software, such as Iress Tri-Gold and Exchange, to support advisers in preparing detailed recommendations.
- Recent experience in a similar role, preferably within a whole-of-market brokerage.
- Genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.
- Experience using mortgage and protection research/sourcing software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Mortgage qualifications, such as CeMAP, CF6, or RO7, are advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage workloads independently, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
