Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the tool setter to ensure proper setup of tools.
  • Operate CNC machinery according to specific programs based on part numbers and work instructions using DNC (Direct Numerical Control).
  • Load and manage tooling within the CNC equipment.
  • Utilize measurement tools to verify the precision of manufactured parts.
  • Implement corrective measures for any discrepancies by adjusting offsets on the CNC machine.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working on various machines and supporting team members as needed.
  • Maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on machinery.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC Turning and Milling machines.
  • Experience within the aerospace industry is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machinery.
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience in CNC Turning and/or Milling.
