Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interim valuations, manage variations, and finalize accounts while preparing internal weekly progress reports on hours worked and earned.
  • Prepare subcontract payment certificates and perform cost value reconciliations, including maintaining a register of star rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual notifications to effectively manage contract administration.
  • Perform take-offs to identify discrepancies between tender drawings and actual construction issues.
  • Monitor subcontract costs against budget allowances and manage labor allocation sheets to ensure project expenses align with contract margins.
  • Utilize and update the internal project database to track labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.
  • Collaborate with project planners to conduct weekly measurements and achieve payment milestones as per contract requirements.
  • Implement risk management strategies effectively.
  • Oversee subcontract orders and project tenders, coordinating with Work Package Managers.
  • Supervise material procurement to ensure purchases remain within tender allowances whenever feasible.
  • Ensure the successful commercial execution of projects in accordance with contract margins.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent professional qualifications.

Essential Experience:
  • Proven experience in a multi-discipline contracting environment.
  • Valid Driving License.
Desirable Experience:
  • Familiarity with NEC contract formats.
  • Experience working within a framework contract.
  • Proficiency in contract administration tools such as CEMAR.
